Here is the actual version of the planning.

Preparation phase

  • International group composition: 5 students in each group
  • First Brainstorming (Skype)
  • Hardware choice

Day 1 : Sunday 29/01/12

  • 15h: Registration at ISIB for students & teachers (ISIB :150 rue Royale, 1000 Bruxelles)
  • 16h: Lan Party at ISIB /Teachers meeting for preparation
  • 17h30: Word of the President, presentation of the program, the partners and ISIB
  • 18h: Welcome Drink (by Chantal)
  • 19h30 – 22h: Restaurant with students & teachers at the french restaurant Coq en pâte” (Tomberg 259, 1200 Woluwe-Saint-Lambert /Metro Station : Tomberg)

Day 2 : Monday 30/01/12

  • 9h30: Lecture : Rapid prototyping with Pure Data and Arduino/Kinect/RFID/Iphones/WiiMotes/Androids – Josef Gründler FH Joanneum
  • 11h : Workshop : Rapid prototyping – Josef Gründler FH Joanneum
  • 13h: Lunch & coffee (by Liliane)
  • 14h: Lecture : Open Interface software – Lionel Lawson
  • 18h: Free time

Day 3 : Tuesday 31/01/12

  • 8h: Artists briefing with the teachers (students can arrive at 9AM)
  • 9h: Group building, brainstorming & project planning  : with artistic support ==> Deliverable for 13h: 1 page with project description, steps & tasks day by day, who does what…
  • 13h: Lunch (by Chantal)
  • 14h: Patent information session – Sabine Dugaro from PI²
  • 17h : Free time

Day 4 : Wednesday 01/02/12

  • 9h: Practical work (Workshop)
  • 13h: Lunch & coffee  (by Liliane)
  • 14h: Practical work ==> Deliverable for tomorrow 9h: 2/3 slides for debriefing to explain what has been done, what will be done tomorrow, problems & questions + Blog update
  • 19h30 – 22h : Restaurant with students & teachers at the italian restaurant “Fantastico” (Rue de l’Enseignement 71, 1000 Bruxelles)

Day 5 : Thursday 02/02/12

  • 9h: Debriefing with every student & professor: problems, news… & Practical work
  • 13h: Lunch & coffee (by Chantale)
  • 14h: Practical work ==> Deliverable for tomorrow 9h : 2/3 slides for debriefing to explain what has been done, what will be done tomorrow, problems & questions
  • 18h : Final poster
  • 15h30 : Brasserie Cantillon Visit
  • 18h: Free time

Day 6 : Friday 03/02/12

  • 9h: Debriefing with every student & professor – Practical work
  • 13h: Lunch & coffee
  • 14h: Practical work ==> Deliverable for tomorrow 9h : 2/3 slides for debriefing to explain what has been done, what will be done tomorrow, problems & questions + Blog update
  • 18h30: Free time

Day 7 : Saturday 04/02/12

  • 9h: Debriefing with every student & professor  &  Practical work
  • 13h: Lunch & coffee
  • 14h: Practical work + Blog update
  • 19h30 – 22h: For students : Diner at “Palais des Indes” (263 avenue Louise, 1050 Brussels, Tram 94) / For teachers : Diner at the belgian restaurantArmes de Bruxelles”  (Beenhouwersstraat 13, 1000 Bruxelles / Metro Station : Trone or 5 minutes walk from ISIB )

Day 8 : Sunday 05/02/12 : FREE DAY

Day 9 : Monday 06/02/12

  • 9h: Finalization of the product and the presentation
  • 13h: Lunch & coffee
  • 14h: Finalization of the product and finalization of the presentation + Blog update
  • 17h30: Free time

Day 10 : Tuesday 07/02/12

  • 9h: Meeting point à ISIB to organize the day and gather the material
  • 10h : Presentation rehearsal & installation at IMAL (Center for digital cultures & technology)
  • 13h: Free time for lunch
  • 14h: Presentation rehearsal & installation
  • 16h30: Répétition générale
  • 19h: Buffet (by Chantal) : with students & teachers
  • 20h – 22h: Public presentation & Party at IMAL: 15 minutes per group, 15/20 slides per presentation

Day 11 : Wednesday 08/02/12

  • 9h: Project debriefing + What about next IP?
  • Departure from Brussels, travel to home
